Description
N-Boc-L-tert-leucine is a β-amino acid that is used as an inhibitor in profiling. It has been shown to inhibit the activity of NS3 protease, which is involved in the synthesis of proteins, and to reduce the production of proinflammatory cytokines. N-Boc-L-tert-leucine has been found to be potent inhibitors of T cell leukemia cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit protein synthesis.
