Description
Trimellitic Anhydride (TMA) is a white, crystalline aromatic anhydride (C9H4O5cap C sub 9 cap H sub 4 cap O sub 5?9?4?5) primarily used as a high-performance, heat-resistant, and durable intermediate for producing plasticizers (like TOTM), epoxy curing agents, alkyd resins, and powder coatings. It provides high thermal stability, excellent adhesion, and low volatility in polymers, often used in electrical, automotive, and PVC applications.
